Western NC Hurricane Relief – Update

Western NC Hurricane Relief Update – Phase 2 Begins

We are incredibly thankful for the overwhelming support during Phase 1 of the Western NC hurricane relief efforts. Through your generosity, we have been able to assist more than 3,000 families, delivering approximately 8,000 lbs of food and dry goods, 1,500 lbs of baby items, and 74,000 lbs of water to communities in need.

Phase 2: Specific Donations Now Needed

As we transition into Phase 2, our focus shifts to long-term recovery and clean-up efforts. While we are no longer accepting general physical donations, we are still collecting specific items that will be transported directly to the areas in need we are in contact with.

For a limited time, we are accepting the following items at our RockFish Church, Raeford location drop-off point:

  • Starter blocks / Fire Starter
  • Charcoal
  • Propane cans small 1lbs
  • Liquid protein drinks
  • Work gloves
  • Work socks
  • Toboggans
  • buddy heaters
  • Work boots
  • tents all sizes
  • sleeping bags
  • Grills
  • long protective gloves
  • small camp stoves
  • pop top cans of food

Due to overwhelming support, some items are not needed at this time. Please do your best  to stick to the items on the needed list. These items will be transported directly to communities where we are actively engaged. Your continued generosity will help meet the critical needs of those affected by the hurricane.
